Hi everyone,
Going slightly off-track to share it’s PUBLICATION DAY for my 4th collection in print: a hybrid prose and poetry chapbook titled “WHITE HOT MOON” from Minnesota-based Red Bird Chapbooks.

As I’ve shared on my social media handles, and I’ll share with you all here, it is surreal editors and presses in the US find my bunch of poems and prose worthy of publication, especially when I’m located thousands of miles away and can’t help with promotion as much as I should. I’m overwhelmed to think this happens solely on merit with zero connections, something that’s a wild dream.
Red Bird Chapbooks started as one person’s prompt in a classroom in 2007. It has evolved into this press, that is making books for 15 years now.
Allow me a request: If you know anyone who would publish an interview or review, please let me know. Or if anyone can help get the word out.
Finally, absolutely not necessary, but if you’d like to support, then do order from this small press. They make everything by hand, and include a hand painted bird with every book of the limited first edition.

Apologies for the self-promotion — I am just so happy today ☺️
Have a great weekend (& wait for the info-packed newsletter dropping in a few hours!)
Warmly,
Mandira

I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
